Instructor Bio: Paul Barolet

Paul has been practicing HEMA since early 2015, attending classes with the Academy of Arms in Burbank, CA and was elevated to be an instructor of the school in 2020. He placed 2nd in the 2019 SoCal Swordfight Jason Taylor Memorial Open Steel Tournament and has since established his skill and proficiency with the Longsword when in the list.

When not completing, he is most likely found directing anything from Longsword to Advanced Rapier & Dagger, providing accurate calls during the high intensity exchanges. More than a few tournament organizers have personally asked for him to direct their events because of his work ethic and dedication to making the correct call during a match at all times.
