Instructor Bio: Sigmund Werndorf

Sigmund is an 8 year scholar, practitioner, and competitor in HEMA and co-founder of the LA based Los Angeles Historical Martial Arts Society. He focuses on the early Liechtenauer tradition with a broad, multi-disciplinary approach. He's a multi-medalist competitor in Longsword, an instructor, and researcher who's study into the historical context of the Liechtenauer tradition most recently took him to Germany for participation in the Feldlager at Brandenburg castle and Harnesfechten Symposium 2023.
