FIORE OVERVIEW FROM WRESTLING TO SWORDS

In this class the Flower of Battle of Fiore de Liberi is explored including history, wrestling, dagger and sword. We'll also cover spear, pole-axe and horsemanship in brief. 

FIGUEYREDO'S RAPIER AND DAGGER
This class will cover how Figueyredo coordinates the rapier and dagger together to tie up the opponent's sword.
SIMPLIFYING THE BIND
The goal of the class is to provide a more sparring/tournament applicable approach to the bind by creating a structured frame work to approach the wide field of options available to use as fencers within the context of the bind.
DAGGER VERSUS SWORD/SWORD VERSUS SPEAR ARE THE SAME THING!
Students will learn the most common attacks of the spear and longsword versus shorter weapons as well as the best techniques to defend themselves against longer weapons.
RULE #1: DON'T DIE

In this class we will look at reading our opponent and making the best choices based on their feedback for the situation.

MORE SIDESWORD OF DALL'AGOCCHIE
This class provides a more advanced look at the actions of the sword alone according to Giovanni dall'Agocchie.
BOLOGNESE FENCING FOR FUN AND PROFIT
Basics of the sword alone according to Giovanni dall'Agocchie:
JEU DE LA HACHE - OR - "PROVING YOUR INNOCENCE WITH AN AXE"
By the end of the class you'll be fighting like a Frenchman and ready to defend your honor. You'll also have a better understanding of a quick and cunning weapon that is often under-appreciated in HEMA, as well as the physicality involved in 15th century armored combat.
BRAIN GAMES: EMPOWERMENT AND COPING STRATEGIES FOR COMPETITIVE HEMA

Brain Games is a class designed to help fencers who are new to competitive HEMA, or those who have never felt comfortable competing, discover coping and empowerment strategies to enjoy the competitive experience.

INTRODUCTION TO THIBAULT'S RAPIER

An introduction to Thibault's rapier, covering his basic theories that are found in his book, 'The Academy of the Sword. 

WHY DRILL WHEN YOU CAN GAME?
In this course Allan Sherlock will introduce you to a variety of sparring games, how to build them, and how to utilize them to learn and sharpen your own skills and those of your fencers.
RING-COACHING: HOW TO EMPOWER YOUR FENCERS IN THE RING
Effective ring-coaching is all about empowering the fencer; your goal is to help them focus on fencing well, while you worry about other small details that might help give them an edge. 
INTRODUCTION TO BRITISH BROADSWORD AND SABER

Learn the ways of the English Quarterstaff! The English system of quarterstaff focuses on maximizing reach and speed.

MEASURE AND TEMPO FOR ANY WEAPON

This course will discussed the concepts of Measure, tempo and how it applies to sparring. We will have several drills and games to practice these skills.

INTRO TO PUGILISM
Introduction to what pugilism is and a brief overview of stance, movement, strikes and blocks. We will be primarily focusing on the systems as laid by Colonel Thomas Hoyer Monstery.
INTRODUCTION TO THE FRENCH SMALLSWORD OF DOMENICO ANGELO
In this class, we shall explore the peculiarities of Domenico Angelo's style of fencing, learning from the English translation done by Domenico's son, Henry Angelo in 1787.
APACHE (PARISIAN GANGS) - DEFENSE DANS LA RUE
Robin Price and Fred Kaye will teach the fighting methods of the Parisian street gangs known as the Apache.
BARE KNUCKLE

No gloves or wraps in the street, learn how to deliver a punch without breaking your hands! See why the old-time pugilists were so effective.

MURDER STRIKES WITH THE MURDER AXE

This class will explain the fundamentals of fighting with the poleaxe while examining plays from various fencing masters such as Paulus Hector Mair and Hans Talhoffer.

TRAINING GAMES AND HOW TO USE THEM

This class, will go through drills and games that can be helpful to your fencing. We will touch upon how approach, expectations, and physical limitations can affect the results/goals of each drill/game.

HOW TO COACH SKILLS VIA GAMES - TGfU
In this class, we will explore how coaches can use the Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU) model to coach in HEMA. The TGfU Model is a hands-on approach to teaching physical education and sports.
