INSTRUCTOR BIO: Aidan Witherspoon

Aidan Witherspoon has been training in HEMA since 2018, and has a number of notable tournament and match wins across the Eastern US and Midwest. His home club of Crossing Fight School focusses mainly on KDF longsword, with cross training in multiple lessor explored sources and other weapons such as sword and buckler and messer. His fencing credentials are matched only by his scholastic ones, with his undergraduate work exploring the KDF fencing tradition at length. He has achievements in other competitive traditions, such as the SCA, Muay Thai, and Brazilian Jujitsu.
