Dean started his HEMA career with the Academy of Arms, Los Angeles, in 2012, and has been teaching classes there and elsewhere for at least 7 years. His primary areas of focus are longsword in the early Liechtenauer tradition, and the rapier of Joachim Meyer. Dean currently practices primarily with the Los Angeles Historical Martial Arts Society.

Course Description:
Measure? Right. Timing? Perfect. Form? On point. But after you've launched your schielhau, what comes next?

In this class we'll explore some of the counters, counter-counters, second intentions and other actions that follow-on from one of the most versatile techniques of the Liechtenauer tradition.
