Kyle Griswold

Kyle Griswold is the head instructor of Mordhau Historical Combat and creator of Broken Blade Publishing.

Kyle is an accomplished competitor with gold medals in multiple fencing categories.

In 2018, Kyle was the Arizona HEMA League champion.

In 2022, Kyle became the national champion in Armored Combat Sports polearm.

Kyle is perhaps most notable for being the husband of the more famous, Brittany Reeves.

Murder Strikes with the Murder Axe

Course Description:
Want to smash another person in the head with an axe?
You are attending a HEMA event, so of course you do!
This class will explain the fundamentals of fighting with the poleaxe while examining plays from various fencing masters such as Paulus Hector Mair and Hans Talhoffer.

Required Gear:
Rubber/plastic/foam poleaxe trainer, fencing jacket/gambeson, mask, hard gloves. Armor is optional.
