Ferd Terado is a Certified Professional Instructor [Guro] in the Pekiti-Tirsia Kali System and the founder of Hastartes Tactical. He has been training in the combat system for 17 years and currently resides and teaches in Eugene, OR.
Guro Ferd is a regular presenter and guest instructor in various martial arts events such as Legacy: Honoring the Grandmasters, SoCal Swordfight, The Oregon Knife Collectors Association (OKCA) and Oregon State Hanmadang. Ferd likes to experiment with weapons outside of his "style" and is known for cross-discipline sparring in open-mat style sparring events, particularly with HEMA and similar-minded blade practitioners.
