Sigmund has been doing HEMA for going on ten years with a holistic focus on early Liechtenauer. He's a multi-gold medalist in longsword and co-founder of the Los Angeles Historical Martial Arts Society. He's been involved with experimental re-enactment for five years, focused on the 15th century in the Holy Roman Empire, with a particular interest in how the social, political, and cultural context of this time and place produced the Liecthenauer tradition and the martial art it represents.
