Rick has been studying martial arts for over 26 years with an emphasis on grappling and edged weapons. In his 15 years as an instructor, Rick specializes in battlefield and siege logistics, stage combat, and weapons/ armor evolution. Outside of the combat aspects of history, Rick lends his skills to the theater where he designs and builds props, armor, and historical garments.
