Ars Gladii

Ars Gladii was founded in 1999 and is one of the oldest continually running HEMA schools in North America. We are a state and federally recognized 501c3 whose mission is to reconstruct the martial traditions of the Medieval, Renaissance, and Early Modern periods of Europe from surviving sources and make them meaningful and fun for modern people. Classes include training in longsword, rapier, Messer, and saber fencing as well as medieval wrestling and close-combat. We also help foster member’s physical and mental growth in a shared environment of comradeship. Whether you are just fond of swords, are seeking a new physical and mental challenge, or just a fan of history, Ars Gladii has something to offer you.
